About this artist

Revolog

Revolog get their inspiration from the Thames, spending time down there at low tide when you can walk on the silt and at high tide when the roads flood. Returning back to London concrete fills them with a sense of urgency. Early electronic music, jazz and mid 90s drum & bass all figure in their sound. Its flow they really want to focus on, even though everything is underpinned by stuttered frameworks.

"We're just another West London band - we didn't come up here for any kind of scene, we came up here through the necessity of working. This is just where we happened to find ourselves."

VRB020 released: Revolog 2 by Revolog

Revolog

From the playground out of the bedroom window, new people were looking for cardboard boxes, cheap MOTs, bargain CDs. Everyone had left town, seen endless speed bumps near the sounds of kids and traffic, asleep in the day, broken teeth, bad pop posters, no pockets.

More one way traffic, two dusty attics or the smell of bleach, falling tents and perimeter fences, loud shaking journeys north, a bed on a car, a mattress, the wrong sound/the right sound.

Net-Label Review of Revolog 1

Net-Label Review has been listening to Revolog 1 by Revolog:

"Revlog is proud to present his album called Revlog 1, and we are proud to review it too...all the tracks are good and have a very DnB vibe to them. It is this vibe that made me fall in love with Drum & Bass many years ago for that reason this one is staying in my collection."
