About this artist

mananaa

Born in Oxford and brought up near Bristol, mananaa became infected with the drum 'n' bass fever but a 3 year music tech degree in Leicester was to change his musical approach. Being surrounded by R'n'B and Bangra in Leicester (two styles he wasn't too fond of) allowed him to distance himself from local styles and trends. This isolation allowed him to gradually slip into a more natural state of creativeness. The original concepts of dancefloor effect and genre acceptance faded and were replaced with concepts of personal satisfaction and emotional content.

Music should mostly come from the heart not the head. The power off making music is being able to make yourself and others feel.
