About this artist

2% is Trenton McElhinney born in June 1987, stemming from Reno, NV (US). 2% began making music in late 2006 when he acquired his first sampler and has since recently moved on to something with more buttons. He is currently creating music using his trusty monome, computer, and acoustic guitar. His sound has a strong electronic and hip-hop influence, while in the past couple of years he has been mainly influenced by the IDM and ambient scene.
