• Listen to the music you have downloaded for your own personal use
• Pass the file onto your friends (as long as you credit the author and let them know about these license terms - it might be easier to just point them to this site)
• Put the music into a podcast that is free for others to download (as long as you credit the artist)
• Use the music in the soundtrack to a video clip (subject to artist approval for the clip - see below)

Details of the credit you should use for each artists work are given on each download page.

Here are a few of things you cannot do with music you download from this site:

• Sell it or use it in any kind of way where people are paying money to listen to the track
• Put the music into a podcast or a video clip that requires a payment from the user of any kind.
• Use the music in the soundtrack of any kind of commercially released video or film.

Using for video soundtracks

You may use the music in the soundtrack to a video clip provided that:

• The artist approves the entire clip which you are proposing to use the music in - email us a link to the proposed video clip and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can
• That the final clip is free for others to view and download
• You credit the artist - details of the credit you should use for each artists work are given on each download page
